Bernard Kerik who was President Bush's choice for Homeland Security Secretary has withdrawn his name for consideration.

He cited "personal reasons."

I am sorry to hear this news.

though it wasn't included in the letter to the President, the story says that he may have had trouble with the legality of a domestic servant that he had and how that was reported to the IRS.
