Bernard Kerik who was President Bush's choice for Homeland Security Secretary has withdrawn his name for consideration.
He cited "personal reasons."
I am sorry to hear this news.

Did CNN mention if there was more to the story, or what the "personal reasons" might have entailed?
though it wasn't included in the letter to the President, the story says that he may have had trouble with the legality of a domestic servant that he had and how that was reported to the IRS.
