Call Me Crazzy!!!
Call me crazy, but I am a dyed flaming redheaded conservative, alternative rock-loving, tattooed, Sinead O'Connor fan who knows every song from the '50's and '60's, and card carrying member of the Republican party.
Rooney Should Follow Dan's Lead

Below is an excerpt from an
article
about quotes made by CBS's Andy Rooney recently:
Rooney also attributed voters' reliance on religion in the recent election to ignorance. "I am an atheist," Rooney said. "I don't understand religion at all. I'm sure I'll offend a lot of people by saying this, but I think it's all nonsense."
He said Christian fundamentalism is a result of "a lack of education. They haven't been exposed to what the world has to offer."
Rooney said he also could not understand how "men who work with their hands voted for George Bush," and again attributing the phenomenon to a lack of education. "The labor force is conservative," he said. "How in the world did that happen?"<
I think it is time for him to follow Dan Rather's lead...

But Mr. Rooney isn't a newsperson
I didn't say he was.....
Yes he has said worse. And he gets worse and worse as senility sets in.

I'm a christian and voted democrat.
I can't figure why people who work with their hands voted for Bush either, so I ask them occasionally, you would be amazed at the answers ...
They range from, 'Cause I just like em' to getting instantly enraged at a question they don't seem to have an answer for ...
It's better than cable ...
I never really cared for Rooney, but when you consider who listens to him, who the hell really cares ...

Funny how you instantly get lumped in with "us" ignorant people just because you are a Christian, huh?

I think we just need to stop paying attention to CBS news, in all its formats. It is clear from the rigged Gas tank tests, to the forged documents, to the clown who had no compassion for his fellow man other than to call them stupid, that they are simply a mouth piece of the Mikey Moore wing of the democrat party.
It would behoove the democrats to distance themselves from such arrogance and hate. Just as Kerry should ahve distanced himself from Whoopi and her case of crabs. But I doubt it will happen.
