Call me crazy, but I am a dyed flaming redheaded conservative, alternative rock-loving, tattooed, Sinead O'Connor fan who knows every song from the '50's and '60's, and card carrying member of the Republican party.

Call me crazy, but I laughed, I cried, I twiddled my thumbs. As I watched the opening and dedication ceremony of the Clinton library, I laughed when former President Carter apologized for a stumbling block he may have created in Clinton's rise to power. I teared up when Bush 41 talked about Clinton's tenacity at overcoming difficulties of childhood to be the man from and of "Hope."

When Clinton droned on and on and on....I twiddled my thumbs. After about 15 minutes, all I could hear was the teacher from Charlie Brown..."Whawawah, wha wha whah wah..."

It is sad when the guest speakers invoke more emotion for President Clinton, than the man being honored.

Just my humble opinion.

At least it was good to see everyone get along. I wish more Democrats would behave like Clinton. (OMG. Did I just say that as Republican? ) Instead of demonizing and slandering Bush, Clinton is at least able to show some respect and dignity. I used to think that Clinton was worst President this country could ever have had. I've changed my mind after this campaign and seeing what Democrats have turned into. Clinton at least showed that Reagan quality of appealing to what was good about America. A shame that the extreme Liberal Dean faction has overtaken centrists and conservatives like Clinton, Lieberman, and Miller. Overall though it was very nice ceremony which showed that both sides can come together and get along for at least a day!

It was good to see them get along. I wish more Democrats would behave like Clinton outside the White House. After all he did some things I don't think any Democrat or Republican can do.

Did they show the blue dress?

lol...you are so cynical

Hey iamheather, your crazy

and you wonder why Dems won't give Bush a break, because Reps did the same thing, even worse from day one of the Clinton adminstration.

Don't remember Republicans 'shooting off missles' at interns in the Oval Office...

And I don't remember Clinton leading us to war under false pretences and bad intellegance. I do remember the Republican Congress fighting him tooth-and-nail when he did take us to war for humanitarian reasons. Funny how some things change...
