Call me crazy, but I am a dyed flaming redheaded conservative, alternative rock-loving, tattooed, Sinead O'Connor fan who knows every song from the '50's and '60's, and card carrying member of the Republican party.

According to MSNBC, 21 percent of Americans said “moral issues” were the biggest factor in their decision – more than those who said the economy or the war on terror. How come we never saw this discussed in any polls before Election Day?

Because the media decided to focus on the war in Iraq. They truly believed if they made this issue the central campaign focus, then Kerry would be elected. Maybe if Kerry had focused more on moral issues instead of the war, he would be President. OOOPs....The majority of Americans wouldn't have agreed with Kerry's moral standings. He had to find something else on which to spotlight. It is because of these moral issues that Bush supporters were so solidly behind the President.

Voting against someone almost never brings victory because it lacks conviciton. Voting for someone connotates a sense of optimism for a brighter future.

Democrats, next time nominate someone you really believe in...then you might have a chance.
