Call me crazy, but I am a dyed flaming redheaded conservative, alternative rock-loving, tattooed, Sinead O'Connor fan who knows every song from the '50's and '60's, and card carrying member of the Republican party.
Thank the Lord

Call me crazy, but I want a concession speech from John Kerry. Even Richard Nixon realized that recounts for days and months to come are not good for the country.

Concede and get on with Amerca's work, John Kerry.

I'm sure he will concede, but jeez, do you think you could be a little more impatient? Personally I think it's very impolite to declare victory or loss before everyone's vote is counted. I know they all do it, but I still think that is true. It is saying that not everyone's vote counts and that we are all sheep who will vote like the rest of the State.

Looks like Nevada, Iowa & New Mexico will end up red states, giving Bush a comfortable EC margin.

Ain't it great seeing Susan Estrich flame out, BTW?

Concede, JK? CNN says he's already ready to send out lawyers for recounts. He doesn't seem to me like the type of man who will quit without a fight...and Ohio sounds like its going to be a pain in the ass...it might be two weeks before we know anything.

He should just be a man and concede, I agree...but...if I were him...I think I'd stay awake and just see what happens for the next few hours.

I'm waiting for Nevada to show up here....I left school (a polling place today) at 8:30, 9 pm tonight? And they were just finishing up...

It's interesting...that's for sure.

I'm glad my vote didn't go for the loser though.

BUSH CAN GO TO FUCKING HELL. I'd Kill him and the Damn Devil Rove! Just give me gun. Though I don't care for Kerry either. IMO were fucked either way, Voting Independant in the end is giving Bush a vote.

This is not way to run a democracy. Our system is fine, but the abuse upon it is not.

Statements like this can land you in jail my friend. If seen by the wrong person you could see men in black suits and coats showing up on your front lawn. Oh and BTW YOU can go to f***ing h*ll also!!!

Capi Crimm of Abeeda.com: First, nice job threatening to kill a sitting President and leaving your .com addy... hope the Secret Service doesn't catch wind of this threat, which is a Federal offense. Real smart.
Second, the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA IS NOT A DEMOCRACY! holy crap, has anyone read the Constitution of the United States? We live in a Republic, and it gets old having lunitics running around this Republic threatening the Presidents life and spreading lies about our form of established government. Get fucking educated please.
Third, and finally, nice condemnation. Telling Bush to "go to hell" indicates that you believe in a Judeo-Christian basis for your spiritual beliefs. Following the teachings of the Torah and the canonical Bible, you would know that your condemnation of Bush does you more harm than not. Not to mention, if you actually DO believe this as a spiritual basis, you show yourself to be a hypocrite in your beliefs through the text of you entire post.
If you DON'T believe in a Judeo-Christian basis for your spirituality, then your pretty much an idiot for using that as a reference. Perhaps next time you could use Hades, Hel, Inferno, Limbo or any of the other various forms that the neitherworld takes in the various spiritual mythos of the world.

Make sure you get Cheney too while you're at it. You don't want to go out of the frying pan and into the fire. And Rumsfeld. I can't stand that guy.

I'm glad somebody said it. People are idiots, thanks for clarifying for them.

The US is now in good hands for the next 4 years! I feel so much better now that the win for Bush is indisputible (no matter how long Kerry drags it out). At least now our country will be a safer place. Does the fact that 2/3 or more of the military personal overseas support Bush tell you anything? It tells me a lot. That they don't feel comfortable putting their (or your) lives in the hands of Kerry.

I think Kerry lost, it is important to be cautious in evaluating the outcome of this election.

In regards to our government, it is a democratic-republic we pick representatives but also vote counting each independent ballot.

4 MORE YEARS!!!!

..of Bush is a good thing? We shall see. So far it's been the road of wayward wars, juggled reasons for those wars, skyrocketing deficits, and cloud-tearing hikes in insurance premiums. . . but who cares as long as the president wears a cowboy hat and declares his love for Christ, right?
